Hickory Slab

Picked up an interesting Hickory slab from another local woodworker. Always great to meet and talk with others who share the same passion I do. Even better when that person is half my age. Great to meet younger professionals and hobbyist’s alike. Someone needs to carry on this creative insanity!

I’m thinking this slab wants to be some variation of a Nakamichi coffee table. Maybe rustic meets stream-lined.

I actually designed something in my sleep last night after looking at hundreds of pictures for inspiration. Maybe it will be the next project after I finish the Cypress doors I am currently making.
